I have just noticed that when programming a cron job as "*/15 * * * * ..." it will start each hour at xx:15 xx:30 and xx:45 but it will never start at xx:00.

Is this a problem specific to cPanel? I am using version 11.23.3-STABLE 25971

Logically it should start each 15 minutes, then it should be at 00, 15, 30 and 45 minutes each hour.

    I also tested with "0,15,30,45 * * * * ..." and it still do not work at xx:00.

cPanel does not interpret the cron parameters, that would be cron that interprets those. We do not bundle a cPanel-specific version of cron.

    Go on, have a guess
Sounds like your version of cron (usually vixie-cron on Linux) is broken for the OS you're running, or perhaps, there's a clock timing issue within the OS.

I just checked a */15 job I have running and it does indeed run at 0, 15, 30, 45. You might want to check whether whichever cron application your OS uses has an update available for it.
