Crontab don't work

    root@server [/]# crontab -e
    /bin/sh: line 1: pico: command not found
    crontab: "pico" exited with status 127

    There i'm trying to edit the crontab, but crontab is calling "pico" as the editor ..
    How can I fix this withouth installing pico ?

    put a sym link for pico

    ln -s /usr/bin/nano /usr/bin/pico

    nano editor should be installed :)

    I fixed my by logging in as root and runnig the following command:

    export VISUAL='nano'

    Now when I use crontab -e it uses nano
