    Hi,
I apologize if it's too obvious but do I need to install csf is mod security is enabled?
Do they conflict if you have both of them active?
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards,
    Steven

    Hello,

Yes you can install csf. There is no issue if mod security installed on the server as mod security is Web Application Firewall and CSF is server firewall.

I actually strongly recommend installing CSF with ModSecurity. LF_MODSEC (A feature of LFD included with CSF) will block people in the firewall who repeatedly violate ModSecurity rules. This can actually be used to mitigate certain types of DoS attacks if they aren't too high in volume.
