I'm having issues with my 3rd party gateway for credit cards. When attempting to charge a client, I get erorrs. We have narrowed this down to Curl w/SSL Support. When I recompile apache in WHM it does have Curl w/SSL Support ticed. Apache compiles fine with no errors. This is the end result.

    CURL support enabled
    CURL Information libcurl/7.12.0 zlib/1.1.4

    It should read.
    CURL support enabled
    CURL Information libcurl/7.12.0 OpenSSL/0.9.7a ipv6 zlib/1.2.1.2

Any ideas on how to fix this or even why it would be doing this.

    Thanks.

When I compile Apache via WHM for CURL and others, the compilation doesn't get completed properly, or there is some other factors. Your best bet is to recomppile using SSH.

Have you tried recompiling Apache from SSH?

Try running /scripts/easyapache and select option 6, scroll down to PHP and select your PHP modules that you need.

    Hope That Helps.

    Hey,

    How did you re-compile apache?.

Create a phpinfo.php file and check it, whether curl install or not. .
Did you check th error log, when you ware compiling the apache.
Also is any other apache directory like apache2 in your /usr/local directory?
If you ware compile it from WHM, please recompile through ssh
    and run the command
    /scripts/easyapache
    and select the option 6.

    Resolved??

 Which was the Gateway that would not accept payment without CURL? And did you finally get apache installed correctly?
