    Hello,

I have been researching this issue for many hours now.

I have ran option 6 several times with both curl options selected. However, it still does not work nor is showing up in phpinfo.

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you for your time!

I take it that you are trying to run WHM Autopilot?

I had a heck of a time getting curl to run on our servers for various reasons. But, check to see if you have the following files

    /lib/libcurl.so.2.0
    /lib/libcurl.so.2.0.2

If you don't seem to have these, goto your WHM and install the RMP called Curl. When you are done doing that, login with SSH to your server.

    run /scripts/easyapache Option 6.

Scroll down to "Php Module --->" hit enter, and then select the following:

    Curl
    Curl-SSL
    Mcrypt()

then hit your right arrow on the keyboard and hit enter.
Then do it again...and it should start to compile with Curl support.

Sorry if I made this very basic, but I don't know your experience with these things, I don't mean to insult in anyway.

I was able to install the curl RPM on another server so I don't think it is the file.

    Thanks again!

Be sure to get back to us, and post how you got everything to just in case someone else has this same problem. :)

The problem was not fixed. I said that I was able to install it on ANOTHER server.

Ooops, I must have misread that. Check to see if you have the following files:

    /lib/libcurl.so.2.0
    /lib/libcurl.so.2.0.2

    We'll start there first.

No, but I did find them here:

    /usr/lib/libcurl.so.2
    /usr/lib/libcurl.so.2.0.2

Thank you very much for your time!

Might want to copy them to /lib/. That's where mine are residing at the moment with very little problems. Just copy to the other location, and still leave them in the original location.

What about a softlink? Try easyapache again after that?

You could make a symlink to do it...try it, see how it turns out. Then do easy apache with the option 6 as we talk about before. Let me know how that turns out. BTW, my aim is StockmanMedia...I may be out for a little bit, but if it shows that I'm not away, then I'm in the office. :)

Here's a strange question, but how do you know it's not working? What are you using to check?

It is not showing up in phpinfo and my client's script gives the following error.

    Fatal Error: curl_init()

Also, still getting the above error when trying to install the curl RPM.

Try getting it manually, and installing it:

    http://fink.sourceforge.net/pdb/package.php/curl-ssl

I had to do this some time ago, it just took me some time to retrace how I did it.

    Hope this somehow helps.
