cURL update

Dear,

I'm trying to update my cURL version.

Current version installed is 7.29, but I need 7.34 or later for PayPal .

yum says there is no update, while there is an rpm on the website of the maker of cURL with version 7.48 .
Is there a way to update the version cPanel supports?
