    Hi,

I am setting up a custom nameserver in my Amazon EC2 server installed with cPanel. Which ip address should i assign to the nameserver, ie the local ip provided for the server or the public ip address which i registered my nameservers?

How can i configure it correctly?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

You certainly need to setup the nameserver with a public IP, nobody will be able to query your DNS if you setup/bin a internal/local IP to IP.
