    Hi everyone,

I have a client running a custom script. The script is sending email notification to client, but it's using user "nobody". Is there a way to modify this?

    Thank you in advance

Yes, rather than using PHP mail() function or sendmail, the user should configure the script to use SMTP authentication. There are numerous online examples on how to do this for various scripting languages.

    Thanks for a quick reply.
I wanted a confirmation that it could only be done through the script.

    Much appreciated!
