Squirrel,

What a deal!!! But, may I suggest that you leave your new membership fee not be limited to just $10.00. IOW, a "contribution" of $10.00 or more entitles members to all of the benefits and services you described.

I've released scripts before as shareware and have had thousands of downloads, without seeing a penny. Yet, I've had a few actually contribute between $50 and $150 for the script.

The hackers/freeloaders will ever taunt you, but the folks that truly can appreciate your efforts may reward you tenfold!

That's a good idea. I will have the membership sign up process ready later this evening and will make it a voluntary amount of $10 or more. One option is to get me something from my Amazon wish list, in which case most of the stuff is a little over $10. Some is a lot over $10, like a negative scanner, but it can't be shipped to Canada. :(

Well, at least your not including your Victoria's Secret wish list;)

The options for joining my "scripts club" are on the site now if anyone wants to join. Anyone joining has a little extra benefit. All the scripts listed on the page will be up within a week or less. By joining, you can request a priority on one of them and it will be up within 24 to 48 hours, depending on how many of them get requested for quick availability.

That's true. The new IE won't allow passwords in the URL.

People could just go directly to the appropriate URL like domain.com/webmail and log in to the popup window. Without being able to include a password in the URL, I doubt there is a way to do it without either a popup, or a "middleman" script, in which case the popup is just as easy.

I will look into it later this week, or next week, to see what could be done.

Squirrel,

What kind of photograhy you into? Just curious after looking at the Digital Rebel on your wish list. I have a Canon 10D.

Serious amateur, and occassional professional work.

I started into photography when I got a Praktica LB2 for my birthday when I was a kid. Moved up from there to Minolta XG-M them X-700. Had dreams of getting a real Nikon someday but hasn't happened yet, unless I count the 4004 from ebay for repairs.

Find out more, (about me page is about all I have up at the moment), at daphotography.com.

I prefer film format, and know the advantages of digital, but won't get a digital camera until I can afford a good one. A film camera and a flatbed scanner still give better than any low price digital camera.

Update:

The scripts club, www.premierwebsitesolutions.com/scripts/, now has 3 scripts publicly available. 2 others are planned to be up tomorrow, and the rest by the weekend.

The ones up now are:
- mount / unmount backup - for WHM
- postwwwacct - for temporary /~username access when a new account is created
- rollbandwidth - allow carryover of unused bandwidth

The "view log files" and the "automatic welcome email" will be up tomorrow.

edit:
The first official newsletter will be going out tomorrow after the 2 new scripts are put up.

Another update

Update for those who are waiting for the other scripts to be put up:

I was planning to have the rest of my current scripts public a couple weeks ago, but 2 things have caused delays. First, I've had several requests for custom scripts, some of which want the scripts for private use, and some are allowing public release. Second, last week, a personal job came up taking a lot of my time which I finally finished now. That put my schedule and all my plans behind by a bit.

If you have been waiting for the rest of the scripts to be put up, don't worry, they're coming. ;) They should be done this weekend or early next week.

If anyone has requests for custom scripts, that will have to wait a bit. I still have a couple more custom scripts to finish and do want to finish putting up the current ones before taking on any new tasks. It would be next week at the earlies before I could tackle any new custom script jobs.
