Sorry if this is already answered, but I just can't find the answer.

I want to customize my skins. I can do this no problem, I just can't figure out how to tar the folder back up into a name.theme format so I can upload and install the skin.

I'm using windows, winzip & winrar both will unpack the tar.gz file but neither one will repack it as a tar.gz file.

Can anyone walk me through this process?

    Thanks!

    1. Just zip it on your windows,
    2. ftp your zip file to server
    3.SSH as root
    4. move zip file to /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/yourthemename/
    5. do 'unzip file.zip' on SSH, you might need to install unzip. Go to WHM under Install a RPM -> choose unzip package.
