Hello,
I have a question about using custom URLs for cPanel/WHM. First of all, is this even possible? Here's what I am trying to do:
Right now I force all my users to use SSL logins, which uses my SSL domain cert. So, when for instance, a person types in http://theirdomain.com/cpanel, they are redirected to https://mydomain.com:2083/yadayada. I am perfectly fine with this because it lets my clients know that their login is secure, and that it is from a familiar name. However, I wanted to see if it would be possible to have this setup to where instead of going to https://mydomain.com:2083/, it would go to https://cpanel.mydomain.com:2083/ or to https://whm.mydomain.com:2087/ if using WHM.
Is this at all possible? Can it be done simply using CNAMEs for each URL?
I would love help if at all possible, and would even pay for a viable solution that works.
Thomas
