    I'm working on web2.0 Application, I'd used wildcards to all subdomains :
    *.mydomain.com ==> mydomain.com/application/
    and it works fine.

    But at same time, I want to have some sub domains which is not related to the application such as (Support, sales, billing, etc.), so how can I (exculde these sub-domains) do this ??

    and the other thing that I want to install SSL over all subdomains, so should I buy Wildcard SSL certificate and install it normally ??

    Thanks for your time :) !

    I believe wildcard subdomain will redirect to main domain only if that subdomain does not exist. Yes, you can go for a wildcard SSL, but why a wildcard SSL if you want to redirect all subdomains to your main domain.
