Customer Cpanel ability to modify MX Records

Customers now have the ability to edit their own MX records, I would like to see the ability for them to beable to modify their own regular DNS as well...

With those 2 features customers are bound to FUBAR their account, so what I would like to see in WHM is the ability to 'restore defaults' to the customers acct at any time.

This is a really scary feataure, one that I am sure is going to be the cause of a lot of headaches after customers screw it all up.. I wish WHM would give us a switch so we could enable it if we wanted end-user to be able to edit MX records or even DNS for that matter but it would then be our decision to allow them to do this or not..

thats where the 'restore default' function for DNS comes in... The customer can screw up whatever they want, and if they do, either we can restore default settings, or the user can...


Its a good feature, saves me from having to update DNS whenever my customers want it.

The restore feature would be excellent! Maybe you should submit it as a feature request?

We had 5 emails today alone of customers playing with this and then breaking their email settings

Also I think a reset to default button in their cpanel might not be a bad idea as well.
