Customers with spamassasin enabled are receiving duplicate messages.

    1. This customer's username is wylielaw.
    2. They added a pop account for lsemel@customer.com
    3. I sent a test message to lsemel@customer.com
    4. A message is automatically generated from wylielaw to lsemel@customer.com
    5. The customer receives both the message from me and from wylielaw. Notice that the message from admin and wylielaw both have the same ID number.

I tested this several times on customers who complained of receiving duplicate messages. After disabling spamassassin on those accounts the duplicate messages stopped.

We have confirmed that here as well. The same happens with local email redirects.

I thought I was going mad. "Glad" to hear I'm not allone in this boat :D

My problem with the double e-mails started after upgrading to CPanel 7. I assume the problem started with the associated upgrade to Exim 4.

Funny thing is it is happening on our RedHat 7.3 box and not our RedHat 8 box.

In case Cpanel staff is reading here, we are on Exim build 4.20 with bdraco's exim.conf.
