    Hey there,

I am having some problems migrating an account from a DirectAdmin server with an expired license, I don't see any point in renewing the license because it's only that one account and I want to get it off DirectAdmin onto cPanel. I managed to transfer other accounts successfully.

    Code:
Attempting to copy username .... from 199.36.123.**
    Creating /scripts... Done
    Copying pkgacct-da script.....0%.. ..100%.. ...Done
    Copying unpkgacct script.....0%.. ..100%.. ...Done

Warning: file location not sent.. guessing.. this may not work ....
    Get md5sum from remote.... Done

Any idea why I'm receiving these kind of errors or what I can do?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Is the account larger than the other accounts? You might try to manually package it on the DirectAdmin server:

    Code:
    /scripts/pkgacct username --nosplit
If that does succeed, then simply scp the file /home/cpmove-username.tar.gz to the new machine and restore it there:

    Code:
    /scripts/restorepkg username
If that does not work, please submit a ticket using WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel with the login credentials to both machines and indicate it is a DirectAdmin transfer to cPanel so that the ticket ends up in the right queue (Migrations Team).

    Thanks!

It seemed to be a problem in one of the mailbox's which was fixed by deleting an empty file in the mailbox, but I'm experiencing another error which I've mentioned in the ticket I have open with support.

    Thanks for the help Tristan.

Which file ended up being the problem? I'm having this same issue with a migration, but don't actually see any zero-length files anywhere.

Could you submit a ticket to us about the issue? Please indicate this is a DirectAdmin to cPanel migration so the ticket ends up in the migrations queue. Also, if you could cite the ticket number upon opening it, this will help us to track the resolution. Thanks!

You can download the migrations scripts for DirectAdmin, Plesk, and Ensim from here:

    Index of /cpanelsync/transfers_DEVEL/pkgacct/

    The files are:

    pkgacct-da
    pkgacct-pXa
    pkgacct-enXim

Just make them executable, and execute them the same way as shown above:
    # ./pkgacct-da user

If you need to build a list of usernames for reference first, download this:
    http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/transfers_DEVEL/pkgacct/updateuserdomains-universal

    then run it:
    # perl updateuserdomains-universal

then check the file at /etc/trueuserdomains to see which accounts are eligible for transfer. The file will show the accounts' usernames and their corresponding domains.
