    Did one of the builds of CPanel add the daemontools-0.76-1 RPM? This is on a few CPanel servers but not all.

    Since it is not on all the servers, is it something that did not work out and should be removed?

    Well I know that CPanel had to install daemontools so I did some more checking...

    When CPanel updates, the following happens:

    [quote:f781977085]
    1:daemontools ########################################### [100%]
    Creating symlink daemontools -> daemontools-0.76...
    Making command links in /command...
    Making compatibility links in /usr/local/bin...
    /service exists. I assume that svscan is already running.
    Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
    package daemontools-0.76-1 is already installed
    [/quote:f781977085]

    So CPanel is installing daemontools.

    Then I looked at the /scripts/sysup script since it is called in /scripts/upcp and it is pointing to:
    updated.cp3.vdi.net

    So it is installing packages from VDI, the daemontools package I assume since VDI is moving to QMail.

    So you might to check your /scripts/sysup script to make sure you have the correct one as some of the servers have the old one pointing to VDI and others have the correct one pointing to CPanel.net. I assume it is related to this problem:
