daily issue - cpanel locks root every night

Hello,
I have recently come across this weird problem where I am not able to login to cPanel , WHM , SSH every night for a couple of hours. I am pretty sure the password is correct since it works after an hour or two. I have checked the firewall and nothing says that I was blocked. Even tried with multiple locations.

It happens every day around mid night and it just wouldn't let me login for a few hours. Since its a productive server, its becoming a pain. Someone has any idea here?

Note - Its a cloudlinux server if it makes any difference.

Check to see if the "root" user has been blocked by cPHulk brute force protection:

"WHM Home » Security Center » cPHulk Brute Force Protection"

The "Login/Brute History" report should include entries for "root" if it's been triggered recently. If it has, you may want to add your IP address to the white list to ensure it's excluded from the lockouts.
