    Hi,

when i create a database in cpanel it says its created but when i click back to view the database list its not there.

Also if I login to shell and use mysql to list the databases that also shows that its not there.

Ive updated everything but still nothing.

This happens to every user to, any ideas?

    thanks

Did you check the log files for any error(s)? That's where you start troubleshooting.

I've had the same problems with numerous customer accounts.

Databases created through cPanel are not showing up in the list (at least when I add them as the root user)

I'll check to see if I can find any relevant log information but just wanted to put in my 2 cents cause other people are having the same problem.

    [Details]
    WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.1-S14304
    Fedora i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

Is your database name greater than 10 characters or
the base database username longer than 8 characters?

I have seen problems on some Linux distributions where
database and user names greater than those limits can
cause the database creation to fail under Cpanel.
