    Can'r access error log

when I try to check the log on both User "Root" and my root account I get Permission Denied so I can't even check what is wrong and I opened another topic got 1 reply all day so I haven't been able to fix it

    Re: Can'r access error log

Which log are you trying to access? Apache, cPanel, or something else?

How, exactly, are you trying to access it? Are you logging into the shell as root?

I'm trying to access the /var/lib/mysql/hostname.err and yes as Root because I'm trying to get the error fixed as I have to keep resetting the SQL Part every couple of hours

    Hello :)

Could you let us know the specific command you are attempting to use? For example, have you tried using "cat" or "tail -f" before the log file name? Are you logged in via SSH?

    Thank you.
