I can't grant permisions in cpanel for user database to a database! It is not doing enything! When I try to restore backup, fails .... How can I fix this?

After Upgrade to Maria DB 10.5 i see that i have in phpmyadmin this

  • Server: Localhost via UNIX socket
  • Server type: MariaDB
  • Server connection: SSL is not being used
  • Server version: 10.5.15-MariaDB - MariaDB Server
  • Protocol version: 10
  • User: cpses_lu6udqfgsb@localhost
  • Server charset: cp1252 West European (latin1)
Who is User: cpses_lu6udqfgsb@localhost?
In WHM is the root account, but from cpanels are different users, not those from the cpanel accounts

Hey there! Normally the process would look something like this:

-create the database user
-create the database
-add the user to the database with whatever permissions you specify

When you perform this process, do you see any errors in the cPanel interface or in the main cPanel log at /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log? I would expect some details to show up there.

The "cpses" user is a temporary session user that is likely related to your PHPMyAdmin session, in this case.

I have upgraded to MariaDB 10.5 from 10.3 and I can't give privelegies to a user for a database!
Not even if I make a backup restoration... the backup restorations gives error that It can t find the user.
I tried to createthe database manualy and import data to it (works)
I have created a new user (works)
I tried to give privelegies for the new user for the new database (not working) - and no errors... I press Make Changes... nothing happens!
I make all my databeses manualy for every website!
I have WHM/Cpanel with 100 account... all are the same... if I don t do anything to them, they work... If I try something, the stop working! I can t install new databases with users!

Even from WHM if I try to grant to a user for a specific databses, the outcome is the same!
If I use the MySQL® Database Wizard, user is not found when I create it and try to add it.... User “crowdswaas_asgfsdsa” could not be added to the database “crowdswaas_asdfghjt”. The request failed. (Error ID: 5y66ns) Ask your hosting provider to research this error in cPanel & WHM’s main error log.
It is for test...
