    The following message appears in cpanel/error_log when I click any 'fantastico pre-installer link' on cpanel. Does it related to cpanel or fantastico bug?

    Code:
    # cat /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
    DBD::mysql::db do failed: You have an error in your SQL syntax;
    check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version
    for the right syntax to use near 'CREATE_TMP_TABLE, INDEX, ALTER,
    SELECT, LOCK_TABLES, INSERT ON `user\_dbname' at line 1
    at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Mysql.pm line 938.
    I've tried to reinstall DBD::mysql using /scripts/perlinstaller --force Bundle::DBD::mysql,
    and also doing /scripts/upcp --force, but still get no luck.
    I am using cPanel 10.9.0-STABLE_119, apache-1.3.37, php-4.4.4, mysql-4.1.22, RHEL 3

    TIA,

    try uninstalling fantastico and reinstalling it. that worked for us on one of our boxes.

    it could be something else too, but see if that works first.
