    Hi everyone,

Today, I started receiving notification emails saying:

    /bin/sh: line 1: 22429 Segmentation fault /usr/local/cpanel/bin/dcpumon > /dev/null 2>&1

The line number changes but I get those emails every 5 minutes. cPanel is running on an OpenVZ VPS on a dedicated server I have access to (I partitioned the dedicated server into VPSes myself).

Any ideas what may be causing this? Everything seems to be running OK and there are plenty of resources too.

Well, try a cPanel update and see if it helps. Hope the VPS doesn't need a re-install.

It seems to have stopped. I googled some info and it seems it could have been causes by a temporary lack of resources on the VPS. The problem is, there were no alerts and everything looked OK.
