What is /usr/local/cpanel/bin/dcpumon? I have that running in my cron every 5 minutes. What exactly does it do?

it records 5 min snapshots of top which you'll find in /var/log/dcpumon

very useful for post mortem after a box dies.

Are these safe to delete? My box has 173mb of "toplog.nnnnnnnnn" files dating back for many many months. Since my host is limited to 1500mb this is a significant disk-usage hit.

IMHO their value for postmorteming a dead vox will fade over time, so perhaps there should be a second cron job that deletes any toplogs that are older than a user-configurable age (e.g. one week, two weeks, one month, two months, etc.).

How would one write such a cron job, btw?
