I once activated mysql/php on cPanel for guestbook. (i just followed the instruction, though i didn't know anything about php or mysql thing)
So, since i still don't know anything about php and i don't use this method again for guestbook, can phpMyAdmin deactivated/closed? How?

Please, coz lately many unauthorized species try to access it from time to time..

    Thanks in advance.

    PS: I dont use php.

AFAIK, you cannot deactivate phpMyAdmin. You can however remove it from your cPanel by disabling in WHM > Packages > Feature Manager.

You might want to make sure you're using a very strong password, and enable cPhulk BFP here:
WHM > Security Center > cPHulk Brute Force Protection

Yes, you can Disable phpMyadmin option to appear in the cPanel from the WHM >> Packages >> Feature Manager .

From Feature Manager section , you select the 'Default' Package from the Drop down list in Edit a Feature List.
And then Uncheck the option of phpMyadmin from the list and Save it.

Now phpMyadmin would disappear from cPanel.

    Hope this helps :)

That removes the icon, it does not disable phpMyAdmin.
