    Cool. Maybe this will be a more viable solution than freebsd and redhat enterprise. Looking forward to it.

    any ideas when.
    I have a new server that I would like to install Debian with cpanel on to replace my existing redhat cpanel server.
    any info is much appreciated.

    You will have to keep us updated. I have been very interested in debian for awhile and run it on a workstation. I have played with it for awhile on a test server and it worked great (no cpanel just a plain box). The only bad thing about debian is that it tends to fall behind on the patches unless you run the unstable branch.

    Any ideas on what we are looking at as a time frame?
    What is cpanel's view on this dist?
