Default attachment with mailing list

Whenever I am sending mails to group mail id usrs are receiving 1 kb txt file as an attachment which contains the -below:

Corpgroup mailing list
[email protected]
http://mail.companyname.com/mailman/listinfo/corpgroup_companyname.com

------------------------------------------

Corpgroup is my mailing list id.

Is there any way to avoid this attachment?

I checked the url. May be the same, but that did not lead to any solution.

You removed the items as mentioned?

I believe you can get the same effect via the web interface by deleting the text in the msg_footer and digest_footer options, available on the Non-digest options and Digest options pages, respectively.
