    Hi All!
    How can i change subj?
I need to create user with home directory "/home/user", but html root directory must be "/home/user" too, not "/home/user/public_html".
I can do it by hand, but must to be a right way (cpanel conf file or something).

    I'm newbie fro cPanel.
    Running Red Hat.

    Thank you.

You have to do that by hand, but where are the user's non-html files going to go? You do realize the security risks, don't you?

    Sure. You are right.
    My error.

Default html pages will be located in
    /home/user/damain.name

I am curious. What is your compelling reason not to use public_html? I do not know off-hand what if anything else will be affected by changing this value (because I have never felt compelled to change it before), but I do know that it is generally a good idea to have a compelling reason before manually changing any thing that cPanel sets up by default.

Why not create a symlink to public_html?
