Default partition size problems

    By default all our servers have the / or /root partition with 20GB, some have ssd hard drives, some have big fast hard drives with 500GB or 1TB but the main thing is that the /var is also this size, 20GB.
    since we manage a lot of databases our problem is that with logs, mails, and some useless temporary files this partition get's full pretty fast every few days and the server stucks intill i go to ssh and cleanup some old logs.
    is there an easy way to do any modification besides having to move the mysql to another place ?

    Hello :)

    The only modifications you can make involve moving directories and symlinking the old location to the new location. The best way to resolve this problem is to ensure the partition setup is configured properly. Remember to follow the recommended partition setup for new servers in the future:
