Is there away to create a generic web page for new domains?

Somtimes I have customers that don't set their websites up for weeks....and I just wanted to know if WHM or CPanel can create a default website for every new website apon setup.

    From the cpanel FAQ:

You can set up a default site in the directory /root/cpanel3-skel/public_html/ an it will be the default website for all accounts added afterwards.

Of course, that is assuming that you are loggin into WHM as root to add sites. If not, then put it in:

    /home/username/cpanel3-skel/public_html

Where username is the username of the account that you use to log in to WHM.

That what the skeleton directory is for. Accounts created by root (server owner) copy the contents from the directory at:
    /root/cpanel3-skel
and reseller accounts copy the contents from:
    /home/username/cpanel3-skel

If you put an index.html page in the public_html directory in the skel directory, that will be the default front page when an account is created.

Good timing. Between the 2 explanations it should be easy to understand. ;)
