Hi Everyone -- I had a user who randomly lost a few emails the other day (most likely blaming 'the server' when they actually deleted them).

I have automated backups enabled for the domain account, but when browsing through the backup via "File and Directory Restoration", I noticed the 'Mail' directory of the accounts home directory isn't being backed up. Is there a way for WHM backup tool to do this?

Thanks for the reference! I searched for a while and didn't see any other references anywhere. A little odd that you don't have access to restore any mail documents without some pretty extreme steps...

Seems like a basic functionality of a webmail application.

Anyway - this one's solved. Thanks again!

You're welcome.

You could opt to use Jetbackup instead.

If you buy your license through cPanel, they will also provide you with support.
