    Hi,

Can anyone show me how I can delete all folders named "_notes" on my server and the contents using putty.

Dreamweaver has created thousands of _notes folders with xml inside.

If possible it would be nice if it would ask before it deletes each one. (maybe lol)

    Go on, have a guess
Various ways, and most are risky. Somthing like:

find /home -name _notes | xargs -p rm -Rfv

But you might want to test it first:

find /home -name _notes -type d | xargs ls

Do it at your own risk
