hi i 'accidentally' deleted all the files in the pubic_html folder and i can't find them to restore them. I have checked the file manager trash folder and the trash can in the legacy file manager. i don't have backups. can anyone please help me get those files back?

Check with your host if they have a backup.

If your host doesn't have a backup you may have a serious issue. Linux doesn't have a "recycle bin" or "trash can" and recovery options are limited. To make things worse Linux is very efficient at reclaiming freed disk space so if you have a lot of read and write cycles on the disk recovery becomes nearly impossible. Wish you the best of luck. If you get it worked out, make a habit of regular backups.
