Backups are stored in the home directory which you can access through cPanel > File Manager > Search for the file whose name start with backup-*******.tar.gz > right click on it to remove. :)

    Hello :)

From the cPanel home page, in the Files area, click Site Backup.
Next to your account or database, click Backup History (Backup History).
Next to the backup you want to remove, click Delete.
    Click Yes.

Either you can follow the method above or else you can delete the files from the backend via SSH. The backups will be mostly created under /backup/cpanel or else under /home in case they are created manually.

    Hello,

Could you elaborate on the specific backup archives you are referring to? For instance, were they generated via cPanel? If so, you can find them in the /home/$username/ directory.

    Thank you.
