Hello,

I have a main site on www.domain.com and a DEMO site at demo.domain.com

Now I want to delete the domain account so my question is what exactly happens when I terminate demo.domain.com in WHM.

I\'m scared that it will also delete the main account :(
Am I right here?

Thank you!
Domenico

www.domain.com and demo.domain.com are two entirely different host names. The www and demo bits are what makes them separate hosts despite having the same SLD (Second Level Domain) - domain.com. Deleting one of them shouldn\'t interfere with the other host\'s operation.

Those of us technical types do not generally give absolute answers to anything, because there is always chaos theory in play.

I have removed a demo account and I had no problems. You should not have any problems either.

That\'s exactly why I said \"shouldn\'t interfere\". You see, there may be other variables at play that you may have missed telling us, e.g. the structure or setup of those hosts. My advice was solely on the basis of what you described. If there are no other variables to worry about then you \"should\" be safe.

Why don\'t you just change the password if you are scared to delete it? And, \"SUSPEND\" it.
