Deleting eMail

    Used to you did echo > inbox but now since the use of maildir im guessing its just rm -rf /new/* cur/* tmp/* ?

    Correct, all the emails for a particular email account are stored under 3 dir's under 'maildir' directory. If you wish to delete all your emails, you can delete the dir's under new, cur and tmp.

    new >> Stores the unread messages.
    cur >> Stores the message after marking as read.
    tmp >> Stores messages after temporary deletion.
