    Hi,

I was trying to wget the clam av 80 file however , the file did not get downloaded to the server , it just created these blank links, I’m trying to delete them , however its not deleting them does any ones knows how to delete this?

    Files/Link:
    PHP:
    clamav-0.80.tar.gz?download&failedmirror\=telia.dl.sourceforge.net
    clamav
    -0.80.tar.gz?download&failedmirror\=telia.dl.sourceforge.net.1
    clamav
    -0.80.tar.gz?download&failedmirror\=telia.dl.sourceforge.net.2
    clamav
    -0.80.tar.gz?download&failedmirror\=umn.dl.sourceforge.net

I have tried the rm –fr , rm , etc... commands , but its giving out the following error:

    PHP:
    root@server [~]# rm clamav-0.80.tar.gz?download&failedmirror\=telia.dl.sourceforge.net
    [112759
    -bashfailedmirror=telia.dl.sourceforge.netcommand not found
    root
@server [~]# rm: cannot lstat `clamav-0.80.tar.gz?download': No such file or directory

    Thanks in advance :)

That's because some of the characters in the file name are interpreted rather than just read.

    You got
    -bash: failedmirror=telia.dl.sourceforge.net: command not found
because it thought &failedmirror was a command.

    Go on, have a guess
Incase you didn't realise your mistake, you need to click on those links in your browser and then download using one of the list of links it then displays, e.g.:
    http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/clamav/clamav-0.80.tar.gz
