Hi,bit of a strange one,i run a website and a while back i put different users in my cpanel as i was learning the ropes.
It was more so becausei did not know what i was doing.
I now have 3 accounts as users and i am guessing another one which is me,it goes as follows...
The 1st one i use to log into my cpanel
mydomain (or rather part of it)
    my password

    Then i have

    mydomain_user1 name
    mydomain_user2 name
    mydomain_user3 name

Can i delete 12and 3 without messing things up as i get the odd error on my forum with user because i use a lot of sql stuff.

I do not log in with 12 and 3 and as far as i'm aware i do not use them at all.
Sorry if this is a bit miss mash lol.

Which area of cPanel has these users listed in it? If you could provide a screen print, then that would be appreciated. Thanks!

Screen shot is below, the user bateman was one that caused a sql error.
As far as i'm aware i do not need the 3 as i have never logged in with them.
The comm data base i don't use,i don't know what that is.
Am i making sense in any of this.

Also can you please delete the screen shot after you have had a look at it.

You should check your config file for that large forum and make sure of the user that is associated with that database. Once you know this you should be able to safely delete the other user. The _comms database appears empty so it, and the user could be removed safely as well.

Thanks for the reply,i've checked my 'phpbb forum' config.php file and has one of the users(user 2 bateman) as a user with its password.
The other user as was in the screen shot,'user 3' is not in there so i am guessing it is ok to delete.
Just need to double confirm the above before i do it.

The comms one i get and is a nothing one.

    Thanks.

Yes you can safely kill that second user shown associated with this database.

    Good luck!
