I'm trying to login in to cpanel via https://...:2083 and I get a message saying
I get a similar message with IE. I've not seen it before although I've used cpanel a lot and a search for "delusions" doesn't turn up anything in this forum.

Is there something funny going on or can I safely install the certificate?

And if I try logging in to cpanel using http://...:2082 I get a cannot find server error??

So can anyone tell me if I have a security risk by installing the delusions certificate?

You need to regenerate your certificate in WHM. It's under the SSL area.

I don't have that option - I only have cpanel. Does that mean I have to ask the host to regenerate it for me?

What happens if I just go ahead and install the certificate even though the names don't match?

Your host should take care of that.
There is no real problem installing the cert as long as you know you are accessing the right server and the connection isnt being hijacked
