    Hello everybody!

    I have just realized that the link we have for our demo, which is:

    http://demo:demo@xxxxxx.net:2082/

    doesnt work anymore.

    Has this been changed in recent versions of Cpanel?

    Thanks

    No, that was a change in MSIE several months ago now. They disabled the ability to use the https://username:password@domain.com syntax due to a bug in the browser which they couldn't be bothered to fix.

    So, does this mean that I cannot use that link at all?

    It's strange.. it has always worked perfectly!

    Any suggestions, please?

    Thats right. You will be unable to use that link in that format.
    username:password@ is now finished.
    Chirpy's explanation is quite correct.
    You will have to change all your links that have that format.

    Try:
    http://domain.com:2082
    Username: demo
    Password: demo

    Or create a subdomain demo.domain.com
    Then in WHM select Account Functions/Disable or Enable Demo Mode to enable demo mode for the sub domain. This way it disables certain security issues in the demo mode. You will still have to supply the user/pass close to the link on your pages.

    http://demo.domain.com:2082
    Username: demo
    Password: demo

    This should work as an alternative:
    Code:
    <form action="https://www.yourserver.com:2083/login/" method=POST>
    <input type="hidden" name="user" value="demo">
    <input type="hidden" name="pass" value="demo">
    <input type=submit value="Demo Login">
    </form>
