Deploy app in public_html dir

Hi,

I am new to hosting and I am having a lot of problems deploying my application in one of the accoutns I created.

So far I have been able to upload my war file and deploy the application in the webapps direcoty of tomcat, but when I upload my servlets in the public_html folder of the account I want this to be deployed nothing happens.

Does anyone know what can I do to make this happen? I have checked and double checked the server.xml and everything seems to be fine.
