I notice in the release notes of cPanel 64 it states:

"New installations of cPanel & WHM version 64 and newer do not include the Legacy Backups system."

What exactly is 'Legacy backups'?

I currently run the /scripts/pkgacct script via my own script on a daily basis which creates the backups and then stored them remotely via FTP.

Is this script a 'legacy backup' ? - Or will this continue as normal ?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply.

I've already read that post, but couldn't find any reference to the pkgacct script ??

This is not the legacy backup system. Legacy backups is the old style backup system that was in place in WHM for some time now as "legacy backup"

pkgacct is going to work like normal still the documentation for v74 of cPanel is here: The pkgacct Script - Version 74 Documentation - cPanel Documentation

Thanks!
