Hello. This is my first post here so excuse me if I may be doing something wrong.

My question is regarding the Password Age in

Home »Security Center »Configure Security Policies

How does the Password Age actually function? Most of our users are connected to Outlook. Does that mean once the password expires, they will stop receiving emails and will have to login to webmail to reset their password so they can continue using it? If not, is there any way to make this happen?

    Thank you for your help

The "Password Age" security policy allows you to specify the number of days to allow cPanel, Webmail, and WHM users to use the same password. It won't force users connecting through a third-party email client to change their password, and it won't prevent successful authentication. There are no native features that will force email users accessing email through an email client to change their passwords (unless you change all email passwords manually or through a bash script), but you could open a feature request for that if it's something you'd like to see added to the product:

    Thank you.
