Hi friends,

A one week ago we received this notification from Server's Security Advisor:

Restart the listed process.
Reboot the server.
We updated all to last version in all servers and rebooted them.

Today, we received similar notifications again in 2 servers at same time.

SERVER 1:

Detected 2 processes that are running outdated executables: 900 1217971

You must take one of the following actions to ensure the system is up-to-date:

Restart the listed processes.
Reboot the server.
The command "/usr/bin/needs-restarting" returns this:

900 : /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --system --address=systemd: --nofork --nopidfile --systemd-activation
1217971 : spamd child
1545682 : spamd child
SERVER 2:

Detected 2 processes that are running outdated executables: 2844641 896

You must take one of the following actions to ensure the system is up-to-date:

Restart the listed processes.
Reboot the server.
The command "/usr/bin/needs-restarting" returns this:

2844641 : spamd child

Hi,

I can create a ticket, however I checked if exist any funcion in WHM/cPanel or command for reboot dbus safely but not found him.

Maybe will work this?: systemctl dbus restart

WHM/cPanel have any tool for solve this?. This is the last outdated process that appear in both servers.

Remember that this is a production server and we need solve him without create any problem in clients accounts or websites.

Thank you very much. Have a nice day.
