Did I overwrite cpanel username/password/hostname files?

I have two websites hosted with a single web hosting company. They use cpanel for admin functions.

I copied all the files from the public_html directory from one website to the other. Now, when I try and access the cpanel on the "destination" website, it only accepts username/password from the source website (and, in fact, the cpanel shows admin info for the source website)

Did I overwrite cpanel's username/password/ip_address info somewhere? What files is this info kept in? Or maybe is there some pointer file which says which webserver the cpanel should access?

I searched for username/passwords/domain names before I ran the copy, but maybe I missed something?
