Different MX values for sub-domains

Hi,

My client wants to have different MX values for sub-domains. He wants to use our mail server for domain.com but another mail server for sub.domain.com. Is that possible and how can that be done in cPanel?

sure, just edit the zone file and add the other mx servers in the zone and reload bind

But when I tried to send email to domain.com, it says:

550-[server] currently not permitted to relay
550-through this server. Perhaps you have not logged into the pop/imap server
550-in the last 30 minutes or do not have SMTP Authentication turned on in your
550 email client.

What does this mean?
