Hi, I'm new to Cpanel
I need to know how I van have a normal login to roundcube webmail without all Cpanel stuff
And when I logout I need to see the roundcube login, not the cpanel webmail login.
And I need to know if it is possible directly from cpanel and not with other scripts to work on
I've seen that with plesk it is possible and simple to do
Probably I'm missing something in cpanel
Thank you

When you log into Webmail couldn't you click "Set as Default" under Roundcube. Wouldn't that effectively be the same?... logging you directly to Roundcube.

Hi Eric
dont know very well how to and I'm worried about problems to do this. Really I've copied the cpanel roundcube installation on a subdomain, modified some config parameteres and seem to work. But it's not a good solution as it works formerly for 1 domain. Make this for all domains is impracticable. In this moment I must move about 60 clients and more domains, emails and dbs. And this is a urgent thing to do.
More, I've had the problem of https redirection from the subdomin to the main domain and I have waste a day to understand that It wasnt me but the problem was in cpanel and then find and apply a solution after other days to understand how cpanel make thing.
And more I need to manage domains via API and their documentation is a mess. API, API1, API2, UAPI (what is this!?)...

Hi kdean
the "set as default" is not an option as it doesnt solve the problem. I need a clear login and logout. Nothing more and nothing less, like every normal webmail. More there is the cpanel bar on the top with unwanted options.
And if you see on the forum there are many many request as mine about this question.

In this moment I cant do otherways but dunno if we made the best choice with cpanel...

Hello :)

You could install your own custom instance of Roundcube on a domain name associated with the server's hostname, so that all users could access a URL such as:

primary-domain.com/roundcube

You don't have to copy the cPanel instance of Roundcube with this method. Instead, install Roundcube from:

Roundcube - Free and Open Source Webmail Software

Thank you.
