    Greetings!

I'm wondering if there might be a way to disable all log file processing done by cPanel. The log files from my site are so large that the processor is constantly maxed out processing the logs, and this greatly slows the rest of the server. Additionally, lowering the 'number of days between processing log files' setting (I've even tried decimal values) does little to help.

Thus I've decided that the best option is simply to disable all log file processing, as my monthly bandwidth usage figure just isn't as important as server speed. I'm unmetered anyway ;) Unfortunately I've been unable to find a way to disable all log file processing within cPanel/WHM, and would greatly appreciate some insight into this.

    Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, until you can find the real solution, you can always go to WHM and set the "The load average above the number of cpus at which logs file processing should be suspended (default 0):" to a very low value such as 0.01

Is the log processing only for bandwidth?

I thought the main goal of the log processing was for awstats, not bandwidth. Does it do only 1.bandwidth,
    2. awstats (and other webreports)
    or
    3. both

    ?
