Is he getting alot of them?. Do they have useful info or are they emails sent by what appears to be a mistake?. If they are standard "accounting" type emails and he only gets one a night then you would do best to convince him to live with it. One day that email will be important and if he sets the server to throw it away he wont know what went wrong and you might be liable for a problem with the machine or his account.

I was thinking, Is it possible to set the Server Contact E-Mail Address to /dev/null to stop email notifications from going out every night?

I've got a VPS customer who would rather the messages never be sent than get them every night.

To be honest I'm perplexed as to where the emails are coming from.

I've disabled automatic updates and there are no services being monitored in the Service Manager.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ahah I've never seen the Contact Manager there.

Thanks for the tip. I've changed the severity of alerts to 1 so hopefully he won't receive nearly as many emails.

I'll let him know that they can't be disabled but if he wants he can always adjust the administrative email. :P

    Thanks for the speedy responses!
