Does anyone know if its possible to revoke FTP access from specific accounts?

I'm asking this as we offer mail hosting accounts and dont really have time to maintain the mailboxes ourselves, would prefer the customer to be doing it themselves however if we give them the master credentials they can ftp to their folders, most certainly not what we want them to be doing.

I noticed in the Pure-FTPD config it doesnt allow users with a GID of less than 100 to upload, I am fully aware it is a security risk to assign a user a GID below 100 but is it possible to make use of that config element to cure our problem?
