You will have to add the below details to disable the Horde and Roundcube interface to /var/cPanel/users/username:

skiphorde=1
skiprcmail=1

Once you add the above lines you will need to restart the cPanel service. To restart the cPanel service, you will have to fire the below command in your command line:

service cPanel restart

Hello,

Thanks "thewebhosting" for yout reply. I have sent this request to my hosting provider and they claims that this is 100% impossible. However I also know that this is possible in some cases we need to run /scripts/updateuserdomains to fix this.

My hosting provider says that this was possible before 2 years but not with latest cPanel versions.

Any of cPanel expert confirm this please.....

We no longer support that level of granularity of skipping webmail clients.

kenneth, spammers love you for this. They sign up with a stolen credit card, log into their account and go to town on webmail. Often times with more than one user. They BCC dozens of people at a time.

It would be nice if we could turn off webmail all together on a specific account without having to play with package/feature sets.

If anyone knows how this might be done, I'd be most grateful.
